Cycles of Spiritual Metabolism

Consummation and Wholeness.

In this phase, the oneness that was two opposites fitting together gives way to a supersensible awareness of the coherence, integrity, and singularity of this one. It is no longer two halves put together but an indescribable unity intact since before the beginnings of the world. The chapter on Wholeness elaborates on this idea.

The cycle is complete. Creation is seen anew. These last seven steps have considered the topic in terms of individual spiritual progress, with a few references to historical spiritual evolution. In everyday life, when we achieve a sense of sublime wholeness, or even an ordinary wholeness, we usually rest for a while, bask a little, and then ease back into everyday life. Now we are ready to begin the process again.
